Here in the North

Arrived up North about two weeks ago. My desire to see the beauty of fall prompted my October journey. Born and raised in NY my pull to my hometown is very strong almost to the point of obsession. This particular season draws me and leaves me feeling heady and peaceful as I joyride the back roads and soak  up the color and culture. The Village Green is especially an interest for me. I think that is because my mother never allowed me there as a kid. However, I used to sneak there with my cousin as she lived close by. I would dress up in her pants and her mothers jewelry and we would stroll through town enjoying window shopping and the hippies as my mother used to call them.
